Destination Orlando Theme Park Tourists Attractions

What would you say is one of the top cities in the US that holds one of the more congested areas of tourists attractions? If you only had three choices I am certain that one of those cities with the most tourists attractions would be Orlando, Florida. Thanks to the Disney brand of attractions the city of Orlando has become synonymous with the land of tourists attractions. Who would have thought all those years ago when Walt Disney decided to drop his little magic kingdom down on the swamp lands of Orlando that it would have grown to become one of the most traveled to destinations for tourists attractions.

When you do a search on things to see in Orlando the results will go on and on for all kinds of theme parks. I really can not think of another city in the world that is so known for having such a dense concentration of theme parks in one area, can you think of another? Another city with that many tourists attractions? Can’t do it can you, because there simply is no other city on earth that has that many tourists attractions in one place.

So how many tourists attractions would you think are in Orlando? Way too many to count I am sure and I am not about to try. There are movie parks, water parks, action parks, Disney Parks and animal parks. Mini golf parks, science parks, Ripley parks, pirate parks, race parks  and jungle parks. Let’s face it if your a tourists looking for park attractions that the city of Orlando has got to be at the top of your list of cities to see.

Thanks to the boom of theme parks in the area the Orlando area has become the destination of choice for a lot of families and their once a year get a way vacation. The lists of tourists attractions in Orlando could probably go on for miles with all the shopping malls, dinner theaters, restaurants and museums. Even with all the lists of tourists attractions in Orlando that are out there, the number one destination of choice will always be the Disney Magic Kingdom. When I say the Disney Magic Kingdom I am referring to all the parks that are now under the name of Disney.

As popular as the Disney brand of attractions remains even they are not immune to the pains of an economy in turmoil. I just recently saw a new commercial for the families to go to the land of Disney and if you book a trip for four nights the folks at Disney are throwing in the next three nights for free. I am curious as to how much of a deal this is for folks since I was not keeping tabs on how much a seven day pass at Disney was going for recently. Is this get four days and three days free a real deal or did they just raise the price on the four day package?

Any way I digress, back to the point of this post which is the top tourists attractions in the Orlando area. So what would be your next choice if you are in Orlando and for some reason you were tired of the Disney scene?   I don’t know how or why that would happen as the Disney parks pretty much cover every tourists attraction you could ever want from a theme park. I think the second choice for most people would be a toss up between the Universal Studios parks and the Sea World park. My personal choice would have to be the Universal parks just because I am a bigger fan of the movies and rides than I am of the Sea animals and the show.  Don’t get me wrong when ever we head down to Orlando we always spend at least a half a day taking in the shows and sites of Sea World attractions.

So let’s say you have one week of vacation time to spend in the city of Orlando. Also you have done the Disney attractions to death and you are going to Orlando to see all the other tourists attractions that you never get to see but might always hear about. What would be at the top of your lists for non Disney tourists attractions to see in Orlando?
